Takeoff & Landing Distance

Calculate Takeoff & Landing distances for sixteen popular GA aircraft. (See the list below.)

Pilots are required to calculate expected takeoff and landing distances for each flight.

These calculations require current weather reports including temperature, wind direction and speed and air pressure. In addition to the weather data charts and/or tables from the airplane POH are needed. The T&L App pulls all this data together and supplies the needed calculated distances.

The T&L App:

  • Downloads METARs
  • Uses airplane POH charts or tables
  • Allows override of weather information
  • Selects headwind runway
  • Calculates T&L distances
  • A worldwide airport database with over 4,000 airports is included with runways defined for US airports.
